Dogs in summer
- 14 June 2011 22:29110273just remembered an incident earlier and thought i would post it before going to bed and forgetting all about it.
we all know about what happens to dogs left in cars during hot weather, a new slant today.
i went past the gateway centre about 2 p.m. there was a dog tethered to a bollard outside, when i returned 30 minutes later the dog was still there in the blazing sun. i knew that the owner was in there because the tail wagged a bit when the door opened.
i then went into the centre and asked the receptionist to put out a call to the owner.

It must have been either a difficult question for someone to answer that kept the dog-owner in there that long, or a long queue.
Reminds of the joke about who really is a man's best friend ? Lock your dog and your wife in the boot of your car, leave them for an hour and see which one is happy to see you !!

I can never understand why people take their dogs shopping. The poor dogs get trampled on if they are small, leads get tangled with items and or legs, while some dogs are snappy with other people.
Complete madness, selfishness or is it just thoughtlessness.-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Most of these dog owners don't appear to love there dogs, there more into making sure they get there fags and booze
thankfully there are only a few.
