  These irresponsible, lazy, useless, couldn't-care-less people should be named and shamed in the local papers.
  
  I'd defend your character Ian all the way and as much as you might want to cover the toe-rag owner in their dog's poop, I'm not sure it is acceptable in this PC day and age.
  
  Must be a wonderful feeling though that you've taught the so and so a lesson he won't forget.
