Does Dover need 50p for meter

  Have just come from town not a single Christmas light to been seen the same yesterday when i got back from Gillingham, thousands spent supposedly on fixing them after last years Fiasco why not just take them down Mrs Scrooge have we run out of 50p for the meter.

  There's obviously an electrical connection problem somewhere Alan, I'm sure it's nothing to do with the Town Council being mean.
  
  I saw a couple of vans near JJB Sports from the company who put them up, so I guess they were looking for the fault to fix.

  Picture shows the cast from the Marlowe Production of Cinderella in full voice. Right in there in the mix is Cllr Ronnie Philpott, the Mayor of Dover in the sumptious white fur, giving it some gusto...just before they pushed the magic plunger in the centre to bring all the lights into life. The kids in the centre are the ones that designed the Mayor's Christmas card I believe, they won the competition that we were asked by DTC to feature and we did so on our frontpage. I didnt hear anything further afterwards as to the winners.
