    I recommend Reg, PaulB and all, you should look back at what he was saying before and during the election.

    The 'broken society' was featured then to great critisism from the left including the LibDems and it was actually discussed on this forum so you cannot claim he was talking in retrospect as some of your comments suggest. He is personally being consistent here. Remember IDS was a great proponent in repairing our broken society and his benefit reforms are part of that process.

    We must hope that now the reality sinks in to the LibDems so the government can progress in all the other areas he mentions some of which, like the HRA, have been blocked by them.

    Mark - I see again that you are trying to excuse the criminals.
