The post you are reporting:
Vic the town was in a black hole but you fail to recognise the reason it was there. Namely DHB not investing those millions back into the port or town and DDC taking over 20yrs to finalize the st james project and the millions of wasted taxes that cost.
Your memory is short; Mr Goldsmith trying to sell and rake in millions for himself, have you forgotten it was us, Dovers residents that shouted the loudest and made the government listen, that in turn has forced the port to change direction.
You also seem unable to see that we (by which I mean all who are suspicious of the DHB's motives) do support the western redevelopment, but only want reassurances that there will remain public access to our nations heritage and a beach front to be proud of.
Have a look at Rotterdam and see what we could have.
you say don't bite the hand that feeds you, but when it's other hand is picking your pockets I think it could be justified.
It's great that you are willing to speak your mind Vic but you should look back through your own posts over the years and see how your opinion flip flops back and forth, and is almost always opposite to that of the general consensus of forum members, something that stood out in your councillor years as well.
Unfortunately on this occasion Vic your opinions are simply wrong.
