In the world we live in with identity theft an ever growing threat, we are advised to destroy anything confidential that we want to dispose of.
While I have a shredder to cope with the small bits, after having a major clear out of my filing cabinet I have a fairly substantial pile of paper that I want to destroy, but my shredder can only cope with 5 minutes of activity at a time, not to mention how boring it is to do!
This got me wondering - why do our recycling depots not have giant shredders that we can take our confidential recycling to? Is this something in the pipeline for the future? It seems this kind of service is currently only available to businesses, yet there surely must be a domestic demand. In the meantime does anyone know what I can do with it?
