Apart from a small minority (what we call the criminal class) I have always felt that the higher you go up the social scale, the more likely you are to find people on the fiddle. Working class people tend to be more upright than the professional classes.
I'm an optimist. But I'm an optimist who takes my raincoat - Harold Wilson
where i used to live there was a doctor's surgery that advertised it's hours as thursday noon till 2 p.m.
i always wondered who his patients were, it turned out to be hard up kosovan asylum seekers who he gave prescriptions to that they then took to the chemist and brought the stuff back to him for a small fee.
he then sold them on the open market, he was a leading member of the sikh community until that point when they disoened him for bringing dishonour on him.
he then went to the general medical council to fight the decision to bar him from practicing, his repersentative pleading his case was none other than cherie blair.
