  You make a very valid point Jan. Dover Priory must indeed be Britain's Premier (if perhaps with a small 'p') railway station for many visitors. Private Enterprise and their bean-counter mentality yet again. No sight of the bigger picture, no vision and no apparent intention of enriching the country or the citizen's or visitor's experience of it. A great shame.
  And so very unhygienic, as you say.
