    Another sad reflection of Britain today. Picking up a broom to sweep the front of the shop or station, in this case, is not in "my job description" therefore doesn't get done. Plus now they can blame the lack of a broom on "the cuts"! Just goes to show that you can throw money at things, but if the people don't change then the problem won't go away. Until the citizens of this country start to take more civic pride, this will be the norm. Go to Spain and the shop keepers clean the front of their premises every morning, because they take pride in having a clean shop that attracts people to visit it.
