All I can add to that is that There was two young officers SERVING in the Scot guards I was with them on exercises in the highlands in the 1960s one was lord Stirling of Stirlingshire and the other was lord Vespa later on his family was the owners of the Blue line shipping company,why would I make that up
Because they come from a long line of officers in their familys they done 3years each at the same time and they were stationed with the guards in the Medway towns and that is where I join them and went by a then army train taking two days up to the highlands . I do have photos somewhere of my time up there
