    The community was much more behind SOS than the Harbour Board's position. That was certainly the way the situation was reflected in social media and the local press.

    Neil can come on here and defend himself as he has done before but there are many out there who feel he 'went native' when he accepted his position with DHB.

    The cargo terminal and, in particular, the new marina are an embarrassment to the town at the moment.

    Look at the board of the defunct People's Port. No names, no pack drill but there are individuals on there who amply demonstrated that they couldn't run the proverbial in a brewery. Dover District Chamber of Commerce anyone?
