The Government is not involved in any discussion with DPPT.
DHB is the owner of the Port of Dover and runs it, as per Government decision.
There will be no announcement from "the people's port" on any Government involvement or talks with them (DPPT).

If it were not as I write here, then I'd invoke the Freedom of Information Act to have all protocols made public!
The Government cannot have private talks with a private or public entity in secret without the Public knowing!

If what Neil Wiggins writes about secret talks and an imminent transition of Dover Port ownership were true, it would end up straight in Court

If a Government acted secretly to bring about a change of ownership of an asset into the hands of a private entity such as is DPPT, it would prepare its own downfall.
So quite frankly I don't believe one word of all this "secret talks" thing with "ministries, civil servants and ministers".

More likely Neil has approached Nigel Farage, who expressed a personal view, unaware of alleged "secret meetings with Government Departments". Farage would probably run a mile if he got wind of these "secretive meetings" DPPT brags on about.
He's not born yesterday! Farage knows full well that UKIP denounces all things done in secret in Brussels or at the Bilderberg meetings.
