Brian and Ed, the works that will happen and which have caused the exit of Folkestone Fixings are changes that the DHB had to agree to carry out within three years of being granted the HRO to develop the Western docks. They were the condition imposed by DDC and the Environment Agency before these organisations would drop their objections to the entire T2 HRO. These works will therefore have to proceed whether or not T2 is actually going to happen - The DHB made a legal commitment to carry them out and any successor will be bound by that agreement..
Keith, nothing that is public at the moment. I'll have some things to say at the DPPT AGM next week. For the moment, suffice to say that the port will transition from its current form of ownership and governance.
