I was at the meeting, the Port and Community Forum.
Around 20 people there, led by George Jenkins and Tim Waggott who were very professional and positive. Usual stuff, working together for the good of the town. Other local groups such as the Dover Society were represented plus 1 or 2 local councillors.
DDC were out in full strength, Aziz, Watkins, Ingleton and Collor. Between them they said they had identified the problems in Dover but when pressed admitted they had no solutions. Quite what these people do to justify themselves is beyond me.
Anyway, George and Tim were very optimistic and polished with various plans, I'd like to think we can move forward to the benefit of all, despite, and not because of the self serving district council.
