  What do people think of DFDS ? I managed to get a very cheap (£19) weekend return ticket for a few weeks time, but never been on one of their ferries to know what it is like !!

  Havent been on them myself Paul but our very own nautical man extraordinaire Ed Connell is probably onboard as we write. With a bit of luck he will look in soon and be able to give you the lowdown
  
  Young Saskia went over with DFDS recently on her way to Venice by motorised vehicle and seemed to enjoy it.

  I have had a few trips on their ferries including a newer one. Very good.

  Thats certainly a very good deal on the price there too Paul. We did carry the press release about that pricing here on Doverforum as DFDS are now (as of very recently) sending us info. Hope we were able to steer you in the right direction.

  on another story for a second guzzler, was realy surprized when you reminded me when you met me at dover prior station when ihad a go at a cllr at that time(mr sievwright) that must have been in the 80's?

  The ships are good the food good but at Two hours and 15 mins crossing time very board, if you leave on a ferry at the same time as theres you can still be in Dunkirk before there ship
