    Paul I was told earlier this year that a development in Woolcomber St had initially been refused by officers because it was 'too smart for the area' or some such.
    The application to replace the soup kitchen with a new hut was allegedly refused because a flood risk assessment had not been provided.

    I don't know for sure if either of those are true but I am sure the details will be on the DDC website.

    Many applications dont reach the eyes of councillors, which I think is just plain wrong.
