Well I dont know re post 42 ?
But presumably they need someone to hopefully follow through any seed of potential growth.

But the DDC cant afford to mount a team of challengers up there in London's square mile where the regeneration bundles along with a flourish, and they dont have any problem building shards and gherkins, but sadly very little of it comes outwards.

Other than put us local citizens through years and years of increased rates and taxes to a swingeing eye-watering proportion, and even then they wouldnt raise enough, the money will have to come from outside..from where the wealth creation is.

A few years back there was talk that the high speed trains arrival in Dover would generate a new boost to our local economy. But I'm not aware of it having any impact along these lines, but would be delighted to hear otherwise.
