  I'm liking your poem there Tom. This guy Jameson was a real cockney geezer and it is a surprise he rose to such levels of editorship..but as it says there, he was quite a circulation builder and clearly came up the hard way through the newsroom floor.
  
  But have we seen the end of guys like that reaching the top? Some experts recently said so on a documentary made by Andrew Neil. On a morning where the notorious sun editor Kelvin Mackenzie has to eat humble pie, very humble pie, over the contents of his dreadful Sun frontpage on the Hillsborough disaster..(naturally it was someone elses fault, the way of the world these days...) I guess it could be the case.
  
  But all in all Derek Jameson was quite a character, a tv personality in the end too with his own chat show but he certainly contributed to society and made it a bit better for all of us. RIP.
