12:5685446Student Finance England! I`ve had so much going on healthwise, I don`t need this bunch of incompetent, badly organised cretins from hell to deal with. 5 letters last month, 4 letters Friday. For my daughter`s grants for uni, they`ve had everything sent that they asked for from me, twice in most cases. Now they`ve decided they made an error, and want £281 back which was overpaid last term. This has been typical of this monstrous government department since I`ve had the misfortune to deal with them. There`s just too much sh*t to put for this forum, if you haven`t dealt with this lot, you`re lucky. I`m not alone either. If our local MP is looking in, this wasteful department of incompetent`s need sorting out now, before someone loses their rag, and goes up to Darlington and sorts them out, PERMANENT!!. I would really find it hard not to sympathise with anyone losing their rag with this lot. As you can see, easy going me has so much hate for this organisation.

13:1385456Our son is at Uni, so we have similar issues. And yes, the frustration is incredible.

13:2185460Thanks Bern. I posted some paperwork off last month and sent it recorded delivery. After handing it over to the post office woman, she started tapping out the address and then said to me, you have to deal with these as well, after which we got into a conversation and it became clear that so many people hate this lot. My daughter`s freinds at uni have had no end of problems with them. The point is, you send them the correct paperwork, they send it back some weeks later, then a month later they want the same paperwork back again, and this involves them sending out 2 or 3 letters to you about it. It`s costing all taxpayer`s a fortune in both paperwork and postage. A rotten Christmas to the lot of them, as they`re giving me.

13:2285461people i know with student offspring say that the paperwork is never ending, with an unnecessary number of photocopied documents required.
then has to be done all over again each year.
if it was for a grant i could understand it but not for a repayable loan.

14:2985479We had similar problems with Dan (grandson) when he went and I suppose the same if Jamie goes. It is a nightmare.
