I haven't been to a dentist for a number of years, but now my teeth are telling me it's time.
So can anyone recommend a local dentist? Is it easy to register with one?
Also I've no idea of the difference between NHS and Private.
Or even the cost of a check-up?

Karlos there is a big difference in cost between NHS and Private if you can get a NHS dentist you will save yourself a lot of money, dental treatment is not at all cheap.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

Do you have to be claiming benefits/retired/etc to be on the NHS nowadays? I'm just a normal working age man.

Total dentalcare in Pencester Rd have been taking on NHS patients in the last month or so. They pulled my tooth out today for just £49.00. The swines!

i used to be an nhs patient at total dentalcare when they first started out, not long afterwards they only took on private patients.
i can remember lying back in the chair being drilled and reading about the benefits of going private on the ceiling - no exaggeration.
