    WHS have an order-online-collect-in-store service which allows penny-pinchers and online-infatuated individuals to save the pennies they dearly covet (e.g. books are often discounted beyond the wildest dreams of the Amazon-infatuated) AND to virtue-signal in full public view by visiting their local high-street store to collect said item, actually speaking to a real person, and maybe pushing the boat out and picking up a bag of gobstoppers or an end-of-line pencil at the same time.
