The post you are reporting:
I had to go to Victoria hospital in Deal today for a six week check up on my new hip. Every thing went well and I don't have to go back. It is a lovely, spotless little hospital and no car park charges.
My friend took me over in his car and we had a nice three hours walking around the town. We had breakfast in the cafe at the end of the pier, very clean and good quick service although a little pricey.
After a walk around to let the breakfast settle we had a drink in the beer garden of a pub on the seafront (my friend had a soft drink) sat among some of the most colouful hanging baskets and planters that I have ever seen. We then went down the main street and had another drink in the New Inn and sat outside at the pavement tables watching the world go by. I didn't see any boarded up shops (although I suppose there are some)
The point of my post is if Deal can do it why can't Dover.?.
