I've just heard there is a massive fire at Deal Town Football Club has anybody heard anything?

Saw what I thought was a fire all the way from Tilmanstone, but got closer and thought it was a cloud but now I know...

according to the b.b.c. 30 firefighters tackled the blaze after they were alerted at 5. 15 p.m.
residents have been told to keep their doors and windows closed.

It looks to be the Deal Town F.C. Clubhouse that is on fire and I understamd it has had a lot of work done on it of late, so not good for Deal F.C at all.

Very sad for this to happen and will be hard for them to find the funding etc to carry on, it is avery small cub, but with the help and good will of the players,and supporters they will carry on,good luck to them all.

This was the first item on the BBC local TV news this morning, apparently it was in a storeroom it certainly looked like a fierce blaze.
