I loved all of my cars, and still do:
Learnt to drive in father's Hillman Minx, 1953 I think, bench seat, handbrake on right, gearstick on driving column, leather seats.
Then I drove his Triumph Herald.
Then I had - my first vehicle - a rattly old Mini Van, pale green, the long gear stick used to jump out of 2nd gear going down steep hills in Lincoln.
Then I had a Morris Minor, light blue, very dependable, had this for 4 years and sold it for £100 less than I paid for it. It had the old type indicators.
Then I had the Super Ford Anglia, pale blue with cream top, good to drive. Lots of chrome and good bodywork.
After we got married we had a Peugeot estate car, Ford Escort estate, Morris estate (with wood finish), Mazda.
I now have a Nissan Micra apple green, and Bob has his Focus, we really need only one car now.
If I had to chose one car I would have a Super Anglia again, or Morris Minor but I do like my Micra.
