DDC Wasting Money.

  1. We had the road sweeping vehicle drive down the road this morning at roughly 10.30, missing the majority of the gutter because of all the parked cars, so why bother.
  
  2. Wheelie Bins have just been emptied nearly three and a half hours later so any dropped rubbish caused by seagulls is left to rot or blow around the street.
  
  3. Conclusion the inhabitants of this street are having their council tax wasted through complete inefficiency at DDC.

  DDC are past masters at it Jan. I remarked to a friend of mine in Shepherdswell recently that the whole of Church Hill had the "wrong" bins out. No, she said, Church Hill and Moreland Road are treated entirely separately from the rest of the village in the interests of "improving efficiency". So the rest of the village have their bins emptied and then separate lorries call round for these two roads. Barking or what?

  Is Church Hill and Moreland Road serviced by a smaller vehicle?Sometimes because of parked cars and the width of the road a smaller vechicle is used .I know buses cannot get down Church Hill.

  slightly off topic but the road sweeper that normally does my road seems to have been moved somewhere else with no replacement leaving the place looking rather untidy.
