    Have you tried a wooden owl or bird of prey lodged on your balcony similar to those on top of the library roof?

    I suppose you could try some discreet netting but not too sure where you could buy it.

    Maybe a cat or a German cross breed snarling South African ridgeback on a rope..only problem with that is you would need to switch to drinking Tennants Homeless Export and drink it al fresco in Pencester with other like minded dog lovers.

    But just think what a fashion statement you'd be making.....lol
