    JHG,you have put it in a nutshell.There was a lack of communication between the event organisers and the respective councils.I was there as the ambassador for the guiding movement not as a councillor although it would have be nice for the children to have been introduced to me at the firework display where i stood until a child got off a stool and i grabbed the stool quick so i could sit down .Talk of respect Mandie mosty of these girls were 7 to 10 years old Im seventy and had walked to the event .Where was the respect when I had to get my own refreshments whilst they all sat down and were waited on ??Come of it .

    Mandie I did leaflet for you probably not for you personally but for the party ..Respect dear lady .Off now to fight another day ,working for the council all day .Thank goodness tomorrow is Saturday and i can be myself relaxing in Canterbury with my daughter.

    For those who throw insults just remeber Im some ones Mother and Grandmother and all my familly have had to share me with the community to which i have devoterd 21 years .One mistake in some of your eyes is very rare .
