    You know me Howard,can't reveal my sources,but if it was who asked me he lives in River and he couldn't believe what was happening,he asked me about protocol in these matters,and having walked from Sandwich to Hastings were we had visiting Mayors running all over the place into other Mayors patch,I knew a little of what was required.
    Funnily enough Diane is my fellow ward Council and a friend and Mayor,it sometimes is difficult to know what to call her,if she is on official duty with her chain on she is Mr Mayor.
    Reminds me of a story that Brian the Town Sergeant told me,if the Mayor fell over board he would try to save the chain,as it is the chain that represents Dover.
