    Having read the letter barry it appears that Protocol HAD been followed with the Chairman of river Parish council having agreed the Mayors presence with chain of office.

    If the letter is true(which I have no reason to doubt) then the behaviour exhibited in front of these youngsters was not the right way to get a point across.
