  I can add to that as the thread discussing Bern's banning was closed. Two of the nicest people I know are Bern and Sarah P and as I read Bern's "very public resignation" I can remind you that it was a sounding off to those on her friends list that was critical of some postings (not posters). As the whole point of forum's is debate, it is very sad to read of people putting their point clearly and directly being perceived by some as "aggressive". If a post is not to somebodies liking they have two simple options, express their own view on why it is wrong or ignore it, that way the debate can stay fresh and interesting.
