    I cannot speak for DDC, but at DTC once a committee has agreed on a course of action (and a cost) it is often left to the officers with any final decisions to be made between them and the committee chair. It will only then go back to the committee if significant changes are needed. Committee members can, of course, keep track of progress simply by asking the officers involved.

    I have never heard of DTC members being asked not to post (or if I did I quickly forgot it).
