Not much point in giving the training if they do not ensure the procedures are followed.

This sounds like the old trick that big business pulls whereby they issue strict edicts stressing the health and safety of their staff at all times. Meanwhile shop managers are set targets that cannot be met without breaking the rules, in turn they are forced to exert pressure on staff members. Never been inside an Aldi shop so I cannot comment on the local one.

We are regular users of Aldi. I think the problems with the fire exit mentioned must relate to when the store was being extended over a year ago. Certainly I've not witnessed any problem since then. As to the aisles being clogged up, yes that was the case but that problem ceased when a new manager arrived about the same time as the refit.

The food is good as are the prices,i dont think anyone will be put off.
