  Excellent news that Dan Snow has formally accepted our offer to be Patron for the Western Heights Preservation Society
  
  With various plans coming to head soon, it will be great to have his name behind our cause

  top stuff from paul and all at the western heights society, a populist historian is the ideal figurehead.
  
  i suspect they were laying a trap for him from before the dover castle programme.

  Both of the Snows took part in a charity Antique Hunt shown on BBC2 last night. I watched the programme before I read Paul's news here, alas I found Snow junior to be rather immature. Good luck Paul, with having him as a Patron, a few hours with a Scythe in his hand will do him the world of good.
