    She did not make a charge. Shame on all of you who harboured that thought. She did get lunch on the house but if there is a person among you who would begrudge her a Dover sole in Dover, shame on you too.

    She did tell me that Dover has a special place in her heart and that she was bloody cold in the wind up on the balcony on the seafront. What a grand lady. I feel privileged and humbled to have been there.
