Lovely man who came across with a great attitude to life and a love of his Country, may he rest in peace.

Nice to see in today's 'i' newspaper, and I believe the sister newspaper 'Independent', a decent obituary to an 'ordinary man' who along with thousands of others 'made a difference' 70+ years ago.
Its about time 'decent, ordinary people' received public recognition instead of the celebrity mob and ex-politicians whose main claim to fame is managing to keep their noses in the 'trough' better know as the public purse throughout their lives!
Rest In Peace Bernard.
