  It would appear that the demolition of the coalition government in Cyprus is leading them to the Eurozone bail out table. With no overall majority in their 56 seat parliament hard financial decisions have just become harder to make and with their debt repayment rates rising it looks like a handout will be required. The government is on the brink of collapse..so it might be worth watching the news before booking your hols.

  Briony has just come back from there Marek...so she got in before the revolution! Went with her boyfriend to bask in the heat so she did. Far too hot for me.

  Yes, and she loved it so much, she is trying to get me to take a holiday there, think I better put that idea on the back burner then

  the bloke that ran my local chippie where i used to live was a cypriot, he used to close down totally in august and go back home to visit friends and relatives.
  
  he said that it was only cool enough to go out at night and eventhen it was sticky enough.
  
  considering his family were in the tourist trade and august would be peak season i never worked out why he went.
  
  that sort of heat is only bearable by young people such as briony and her boyfriend.
