    Yes a overhead rail was used to take coal to the eastern docks and some would end up at the western docks going by train as you know along the front.I know as a young man just out of the Army I did some kind of work connect to the overhead rail but What I can not tell you now,it might have been even before I went in the army,that was in the late 1950s.
