    Personally I am for each County having a large degree of economic autonomy, with a much higher proportion of local taxes goint to the local County and its districts.
    It would free us from the never-ending debits of the national treasury, and give local Councils the chance to sort their own economic problems out, such as finding work for the unemployed who speak the same dialect with the same accent.
