  "In an unprecedented initiative, the two largest business support bodies in the East Kent coastal business community, Thanet & East Kent Chamber and Dover District Chamber of Commerce, announce the appointment of three Presidents.
  Charlie Elphicke, Member of Parliament for Dover and Deal, has accepted an invitation to serve as President of the Dover District Chamber of Commerce. In a letter to the Chamber, he wrote that he was delighted to be part of the Chamber and is looking forward to helping businesses in the area to "boost revenue and business opportunities".
  
  The Thanet & East Kent Chamber is doubly delighted to announce that Laura Sandys MP for South Thanet & Sandwich, and Roger Gale MP for North Thanet have accepted the invitation from the board of directors to serve as Co-Presidents with immediate effect.
  
  Chief Executive of both Chambers, David Foley said: "The Chamber presidency is a non-political, honourary position requiring great skill in looking after the commercial interests of local companies and their workforce as well as encouraging inward investors. We are thrilled that the East Kent coastal business community will have such a top team batting for us here and at Westminster."
