My ward does not feature in that list, going by what I read on Facebook I find it's omission rather strange.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

I receive stats for the wards in Dover for various crimes committed and never seen these kind of figures for Maxton, Elmsvale and Priory.
The PCSO must be run off his feet.

Haven't seen a PCSO for ages, used to him bounding around the back streets regularly.

I've sent him an email to ask if he still is our PCSO and what does he make of the crime round here.

Strangely enough Roger I saw a female PCSO walking along the Folkestone Road earlier so it looks like Ryan has chucked it in. Don't b;ame him if that is the case as it is a thankless task with too little powers handed to them.
I bet those crime figures for the ward are mostly during the evening on that stretch of the Folkestone Road between my road and Malvern Road.

To be really effective the PCSO needs the power of arrest, the same powers that the old fashioned policeman on the beat had.

With so little Police around to deal with crime its hardly surprising.Theres probably far more that dont get reported as so many people feel that they,re just wasting their time and nothing will be done. When you look at some of the punishment that is dished out for some quite serious offences, muggings etc etc,it really is a joke.
