The post you are reporting:
now let's reply,
Although i have not spoken to anthony on this case, nor do i have any intention of doing so, i do recall gwyn replying at the time that he had taken up the case and although these claims were refuted gwyn was(with anthonys permission) going to publish the letters to/from them both the labour office
this was never taken up by anthony, as far as im aware.
No doubt charlie did his bit, but by the time he got involved it sounds like the case was at an end anyway, but all credit to him.
im sure that most people find it crazy to discuss such issues with a local paper not with the best reputation in Dover, but that was his choice.
certainly i would hae thought getting to this position should have been a private matter, and although it's not for me to judge anyone there is some who would say having to go through the csa maybe not all the fault lies with them.
Now anthony probably hasn't been a member of the labour party for 10 years or more, and this is not the only case where by he has made it clear of his lack of support for gwyn and the labour party.
that is of course his choice.
with regard to gwyn he was a nice enough chap but to middle of the road for me and although a good constituency mp, not my cup of tea.
with regard to the labour party itself, it is a broad church, and you can see from some of its ex members how different the -views are that it is a broad church.
to name such a few;
reg hansell middle of the road
bob frost(yep he was also in the labour party!!!) but more to the right
which he showed when he joined the tories)
so peter unlike your party, im happy to openly discuss my feelings on issues as the arise with any of the parties
