  Sue's Nigel and Gordon won't be happy with the spelling of their names, one other doesn't look right to me too.

  Some of those Councillors work many hours serving you the public.For some they are never off duty.DDC Councillors have not had a pay rise got many years.When I was interviewed re my allowance the two interviewers were amazed?Every year the recommendation is for an increas but it was never taken.

  The average bog standard councillor gets less than £80 a week for sitting through 3 hour meetings, reading piles of paperwork and dealing with complaints from the voters.
  
  I shall continue my stance of not standing for office.

  But every yr Paul Carter & his cronies get bumper pay rises and get more money then the PM & the Cabinet. Always enough money for them while they make cuts on residential homes ,social care etc , Really hope the public see this for what it is and get rid of them next mth ,

  Haven't got the latest figures to hand but a few short years back Paul Carter was one of many Council leaders taking home more than the PM. Some top executives were doing even better.
