  Jan, that was just drawing a parallel between parliament and what happens outside. If the canteens in hospitals are not subsidised for staff any more then perhaps they should be. I also though am not suggesting subsidies in parliamentary bars is right though there is a good argument for it in the canteens/restaurants.
  
  The main point was where you were saying that there should not be bars in Parliament, I am saying they have an important role and should be there.
