Does anyone know if the recently reopened Corner cafe is still trading?I,ve used it a few times and the food is very good but i noticed it didnt open today and the Christmas closure seemed longer than the average.Anyone know whats happening?

i know they closed for a long festive break, there was a notice outside.

They reopened last week but was closed again today.

go past it often never many in there, the cafe the other side of the road going out of town seems to be going great guns.

Its a shame as a lot of effort went in to it but Evas across the road certainly gets most of the trade.

It is on the wrong side of the road, most of the footfall is on the other side, possibly because that is the side where the majority of the shops are.

I think the property went to auction, maybe it was always the plan to reopen the cafe and then sell the business on as a going concern? It is for sale as a leasehold.

Sorry but it open just before the big one on the other side of the rd +no parking there,This one will go as flats in the end sad but can not see it carrying on as a cafe.

Yes,i saw it open today.Sign saying its under new managment and tea for only 50p.Things are not easy in any business nowdays but i wish them the best of luck.Rather see it as a cafe than turned into housing.

The old red cafe is featured on Homes Under The Hammer (BBC1) this morning, about 15 minutes in if you want to catch up iPlayer.

saw the program this morning, Have just driven past the place it had a closed sign up and the place was empty,however the new cafe just across the road was jam packed I think the new place is Eva's I know I have seen it on the forum.
A dog is just not for christmas save some for boxing day

the corner cafe closes on a monday, had a look through the window and everything was in place ready for tomorrow.
