11:0292382Coombe Valley Road is to be closed (again) for a couple of days. Here's the information from Kent Highways.
It is necessary to close Coombe Valley Road, Dover from 12 February 2011 for up to 2 nights, commencing from 22:00pm to 05:00am on Saturday 12th and again on Sunday 13th.
The road will be closed to through traffic between the junctions with Magadala Road and Edgar Road, at the Network Rail bridge.
The alternative route is via Coombe Valley Road, Barwick Road, St Radigund's Road, Bunkers Hill Road, Hillside Road, Crabble Avenue, Crabble Road, Crabble Hill, Buckland Avenue, Cherry Tree Avenue and London Road.
This is to enable essential street lighting works to be carried out on behalf of Kent Highway Services Street Lighting team.
The Street Lighting team have been in contact with Buckland Hospital, Stagecoach Dover, Dover District Council Environmental Health and Coombe Valley Transport to inform them of the works.
