Where are these so-called jobs in the community? and if they exist why are they not being offered on the employment market/ Surely the local councils who are making people redundant will purely use this as a means of cheap labour.Secondly what happens to the wife and kids of a chap who simply refuses to take part in the scheme for whatever reason.Do they suffer as innocent parties?

Although the idea may sound worthwhile and vote catching I forsee a lot of pitfalls in it.My concerns are not with the bone idle but with the families of the bone idle who will eventually have to shoulder the lack of food, the unpaid rent etc the dirty school clothes and the taunts from their peers.
