Had the correct paperwork been done for the first five days no compensation would have been paid, thankfully he has now gone and is no longer a burden to us.

Gone but for how long for?
We have porous borders that make it easy for the determined criminal like him, if he chooses to do it the right way and claim asylum he will say he was tortured in Sri Lanka and it was our fault for sending him back.
Wouldn't be a first.
