Thanks Vic & Howard. You're both right - the event does officially get underway at 10.00 although if people want to get there a little earlier they will be able to cheer on Martin Young, 7 year-old Océanne and her Mum Karine as they start off the sponsored walk, which is being started by Whitfield Parish Council Chairman Jeff Goodsell and Ramada Hotel's Manager of Sales & Marketing, Trevor Bond.
There's plenty for all the family to get involved with - races for children (of all ages!), vintage cars & motorbikes, face painting, Dover Dance Academy cheerleading demonstration, Whitfield Juniors FC vs St Margarets (2pm). For once, the weather looks like it is going to behave itself, so it would be really good if we could get large numbers up there to make it a really great day for the village.
The Harriet Quimby Centenary Project have a stall there, too, with a tombola to raise funds. Please come along and support us and bring your kids, too - they will love it!!!

True friends stab you in the front.
