I received notification that the Harbour Revision Order has been approved by MMO.
This means that the proposal for the two Community Director appointments can be enacted coming into force 25th March 2016. I won't go into the comments & detail included in the letter but it is worth reading when published more widely.
As you said Mr Watkins CAN be, you have not said the HAVE TO so the D.H.B. does not have to take them them on.
The D,H,B, now have a working mandate they have all the plans etc so they need not take two community Directors on the pay roll that are not needed and will not support what they are doing.
The D,H,,B need not talk to any group, that can be done with members of their own forum .they do not have to take on what the parish town council say or any of its members they have no powers of any kind.
The only council or group they need to talk to is the Dover Dis/Council who have a big say and can act on things in Dover. And as they are for the new build that is all they need, to carry on in the way they are.
Actually Vic, the terms of the order are very clear, I have read it in full. Neil and Samantha WILL become non-executive directors of DHB on March 25th whether you give your permission or not.
