Dover Athletic invite all supporters to bring a female relative or friend to our fixture against Tranmere Rovers on March 12, to help celebrate International Women’s Day with us. There will also be a wide range of incentives for all supporters to enjoy on the day!
To help mark the occasion, we have received a number of generous donations from local businesses – all of which will be up for grabs to every Whites fan at Crabble on the day! They include..
* "Win a Jaguar XE for the weekend!" - courtesy of Barretts Jaguar
* Four VIP tickets for the club’s last game of the regular season, at home to Forest Green Rovers on Saturday April 30th
* Lunch for two at Wallett’s Court
* A hair appointment for two at the chic Silk Hair Salon in Whitfield
* A free body composition analysis for two people, from Sally Reeve Weight Management
* A hamper, courtesy of Metroline Security
* Day entrance for an adult and a child at Wingham Wildlife Park
* Full valet for any passenger vehicle, from Hollis Motors
Every supporter who enters through the home turnstiles will be issued with a numbered raffle ticket, with the draw taking place on the pitch at half-time.
We also have some fantastic free drinks offers available for home fans between 12.30pm and 1.30pm:
- LADIES ONLY: free glass of fizz
- Free pints of Fosters (one pint per customer, per trip to the bar)
- Free bottles of ale/bitter (one per customer, per trip to the bar)
Please note, we have the right to refuse to serve anybody, for any reason, at the discretion of Centre Spot staff. We encourage supporters to drink responsibly. Both drinks offers, and the distribution/eligibility for raffle tickets and prizes, are open to fans entering through the home turnstiles only. Offers are available whilst stocks last.
This Saturday, Crabble really is the place to be – do come along and enjoy the day, all whilst supporting your local club and other local businesses!

Good luck with it Jack, I will be tuning in, as ever! Hopefully the Town is able to support its club - a home game with Tranmere Rovers is a pretty big deal, more so given that so much rides on the game!

A great range of incentives there, would I be correct in thinking that other than Crystal Palace they are the biggest club to visit Crabble?

Certainly the biggest club to come to Crabble for a competitive fixture since the formation of DAFC in the mid 1980's (someone older than me would know if anyone bigger came in the old Dover FC days!
In the early 1990's, Tranmere were in the playoffs for promotion to the Premier League three seasons in a row - how times change..

Just a reminder of this afternoon's clash at Crabble with all the extras on offer, there used to be regular threads on the subject of DAFC but interest amongst members seems to have all but disappeared.

the term working class usually is synonymous and interchangeable with the term proletariat, and includes all workers who expend either physical labour or mental labour (salaried knowledge workers and white-collar workers) to produce economic value for the owners of the means of production.
Which club do you support Bob?
